HEP: Hour Exchange Portland
How does Hour Exchange work? Simple. For every hour you help a neighbor in need you earn a time credit you can spend having any member provide you with a service you need. Everyone's time is equal no matter what the service. And there are hundreds of services available from health care to weatherization or tickets to shows.
Exchanging hour services is about empowering individuals, organizations and businesses to help each other meet their needs cash free in one-to–one exchanges or in group projects. Members help rebuild and sustain neighborhood networks and strengthen community as a result of their activities. So join Hour Exchange Portland today or check out www.hourworld.org if you live outside of Maine and don't forget to friend us on facebook.

Mark Ford
Born in Maine, Mark Ford received his photographic training in Dallas, Texas, under the tutelage of the architectural photographer Carolyn Brown. While in Dallas, he joined a small group of photographers associated with the Dallas Institute for Humanities and Culture and began photographing the city’s historic architecture, a project that would continue for four years and lead to a number of exhibitions.
